If your motorcycle is left garaged for a long duration currently, you should try to avoid the tyres becoming distorted. This could occur if the weight is always at one point in contact with the floor. Maintaining the correct tyre pressure will help but it is also a good idea to move the bike wheels frequently. If you have a centre stand fitted, it should be easy to rotate the wheel. However, as Triumphs often are not fitted with one, it is more troublesome. Here is a small tip: take the staples out of an old TV guide or equivalent that has shiny pages, lay them together on the floor and position a wheel of the bike on them (see photo). With the bike soundly on its side stand, rotate that wheel around several inches by hand, as the pages should slip away. Roll your bike back to its usual parking space, when done. (Note, this only works when it is dry).
