This years ride for our area will start at Strensham services at 0910 Saturday 4th October 2014. I suggest we meet at the Willy Wicket at 0745 with a view to 0800. This should give us plenty of time for a coffee etc. at the services. Let me know if your going.
All the best Mike

Had a couple of phone calls I may not have left enough time to get to Strensham services any body got any idea how long it takes to get there from Bristol. Someone else mentioned that it is out of there way to come to the Willy Wicket. I am considering the first services on the M5 from Bristol. What do you think?

It's about 50 mins to 1 hour to Strensham. (46 miles) 20mins to Michaelwood services. (14miles) The Legion Riders are meeting at Michaelwood at 7.30 this includes a short break if needed. Arrive at Strensham 8.20 with time to stretch legs etc before ride off at 9.10.
We could meet at willy wicket at 7.00 , leaving 7.10 ? Talk about it on thursday.

Just got back from the the Wall.
I'm not sure if I rode the bike or a jet ski up the motorway. The weather was absolutely awful. Thanks to Gary's bright orange romper suit I was able to see were I was going.
For those of you who have never done this ride before I would highly recommend it. It is probably the best organised event in the country. I managed to find the names of some old friends on the wall, which brought back some memories of a long lost youth.
Thanks Gary for your company and your tour guide knowledge.
The ride back was in glorious sunshine and a lot quicker than the ride up.
Yes I have cleaned the bike since I got back it was doing a good impression of a Massey Ferguson.
All the best Mike
