http:www.fowlers.co.uk
Was over a year ago but the forum wasn't here then. Bike died so I gave em a ring. They picked it up and had it fixed the next day for a good price. So a positive for Fowlers then.

Broke my front brake lever a couple a weeks ago so phoned them to obtain a new one on the Friday. Was told they had 5 in stock so jumped in the car and battled across Bristol in the rush hour. When I arrived they said " no problem sir we can order it as we have none in stock" Great why the hell couldn't they have told me that on the phone. At least it arrived quicker than they told me and all staff were as helpfull as they could be.
So I think I will give them a neutral for that one.

Correct, it's 9 years old at the moment. Take it you're not a fan of theirs then?

Another trip to Fowlers last and this week, this time so my son could buy his first bike. Everything went great at first. He picked it out, arranged his CBT for the Sunday and was told he could pick it up as soon as he passed. Sunday came, he passed and was then told that as he hadn't brought his insurance cert in they hadn't been able to tax it. WHY THE HELL didn't they tell him that last week. Did get it on the Monday after hanging around for 3 hours so it worked out in the end,
Another neutral I think.

...and definitely don't ask them to contact Triumph with warranty issues!
Yes sir, we'll call them and let you know what they say. 4 calls to Fowlers later and they still hadn't contacted them. In fact they had lost all of my details! One (snotty) letter to Triumph, issue sorted, cheque in post.
But to be fair the rest of the store are pretty helpful, esp the spares dept.
